My Story

Cheyenne Coffey was born to parents Leslie Wilson and Bobbie Coffey on June 25th, 2008 A true blessing from the lord above. Leslie has always been the "mother" type so no doubt she would be the best mother a little girl can have. Little Cheyenne battled sickness from the beginning, after being born with a little pneumoina, Cheyenne was immediatly taken to Kosairs Childrens Hospital shortly after birth. Months went on lil cheyenne was just as beautiful as ever, then the poor thing started running a fever, was taken back and forwards to the doctors. Finally she was transferred to Kosairs once again. The little angel was a fighter from the very beginning. She fought so hard to hang on to life to see mommy and daddy and grandma and pa that loved her so deeply. Some family members that never got the chance to meet her face to face such as me (Leslies Cousin). There was lots and lots of people miss cheyenne needed to meet but god insisted that she come with him. So on October 28th 2008 the precious angel went to heaven above while lying in her mothers arms. Leslie said "I knew where she went when she died in my arms" Thats "what saved me". I love Leslie to death not only for her being my cousin, a great mother, hero to her daughter, and being soo strong to get threw all this. Miss Chey was 4 months 3 days old when she went to heaven, due to meningitis. A special note written by leslie "Cherish the ones you love you never know how long they will be here"
