It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of Christine Thomas Hill. For over 15 year she battled Cancer and finally succumbed the illness on Friday, September 7, 2012. She is on her way "Home" and will be missed by us all. We truly love her and will always remember and keep her in our prayers.
Christine was born in 1963 and was raised in the Bronx. She attended Holy Cross church and Stevenson H.S. .She conceived one son, Dan Carter, Jr. She relocated to Wilkes-Berre, PA and from there she moved to Rochester, NY. Although, she battled Cancer, she was gainfully employed for most of her adult life. After being a victim of domestic violence, she became a strong advocate against it and worked at the Alternative for Battered Women for several years. She always worked in the health field and was known as a good, reliable and compassionate employee.
She is survived by her son, Dan Carter, Jr. brother: Shawn Boone, Jr, sister in laws: Geanette Browder, Lillian Carter brother in laws: Charles and Larry Carter and past significant other: Dan Carter and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends.
She will be deeply missed and always loved.
