My Story

My son Cody passed due to an auto accident on 3/24/2010. Cody was my life, my motivation and my reason for getting up everyday. He was a special lil man even as a small child. He was always gentle and kind with the most loving heart. I will forever love you Cody and not a moment goes by that you are not in my thoughts. I long to see that sweet smile but I do feel pride in knowing how many other lives you touched in just the short time we had you here on earth. I always told you that you broke my heart everyday because you carried it with you in your back pocket. I now feel like my heart has gone with you. I miss you my sweet lil man and live for the day that I get to see that sweet smile and hold you in my arms.

Cody had lots of friends that loved him dearly. He was the most lovable lil man I have ever seen. He was not your typical 14 year old. He slways had a smile or a joke and a willingness to help anyone who could use his assistance from physical help to just lending an ear or helping you smile if that is what was needed. Cody's compassion level was so far above his years yet he was still your typical 14 year old Christian little boy. His love of God and People gives me comfort in knowing that Cody is waiting for me in Heaven.

Cody was involved in an auto accident that also killed his daddy only two weeks after losing his best friend, Paw Paw Joe in an different tragic accident. I know he is still being taken good care of until I can get there to be with them all. These three were my life and everything that was normal to me. I love and miss you all so very much.

I pray for peace and strength to get me through this as the days get longer and harder. I miss you my sweet lil man!
