My Story

Doreen was the eldest child of Cyril and Hilda Norton Born in 1933 she was soon older sister to Fred, Kathleen, Derek and Janice. She was tall, slim and beautiful and I am sure she had lots of boy friends in her teenage years.
She married Ray in 1954 and had two children Stephen and Stuart, both boys have done well in their chosen careers and Doreen was very proud of them and the Grandchildren they presented her with. For many years she taught ladies keep fit, she was a dedicated instructor and worked everyone very hard and many people can attribute their general good health to the routines she made us practice.
Unfortunately age catches up with all of us eventually and Doreen began to suffer ill health and she found she could not be as as active as she wanted to be.
Doreen died suddenly on June 29th 1994. Her passing has left a huge gap in the lives of those who knew her and loved her.
I miss her, miss our long chats, sisterly support and her sense of humour.
I will always love you and keep you close in my heart.
