MAILLET, Emma Marie – Age 81, of Villa Acadienne, Meteghan, formerly of Meteghan, passed away Monday, October 27, 2014, in the Villa. Born in Saulnierville, she was a daughter of the late Irenee and Lucie (Comeau) Comeau. She is survived by husband, Donald “Donnie”, Villa Acadienne, Meteghan; daughter, Jeanne MacKenzie, Dartmouth; sons, Michel, Timberlea; André, Montreal, PQ; Pierre, Iqaluit, NU; brother, Emile (Maria), St. Martin; sister, Mary Doucette, Rockland, Mass.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brother, Louis. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Meteghan Funeral Home. Funeral will be Friday, October 31 at 11 a.m. in Stella Maris Church, Meteghan, with Rev. Wieslaw Papuga officiating. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Emma’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia or charity of your choice.
