Hazel Frances House is her name she would go by Frances because she never liked the name Hazel. She was born June 25, 1961 in Bay'largent Newfoundland her mother Carolyn did not know she was pregnant, so she gave birth to a beautiful 4 lb daughter delivered by Fran's own grandmother Elizabeth House her father' Nicholas House's mother. She had 3 sisters Georgina, Donna, Eldora and she had 3 brothers Nicholas jr, Henry, and George. Frances spent some of her life in Newfoundland and some of her life in Ontario. She went on to marry and had a baby boy named Jason Matthew House. Later she was a single mom stuggling like many. In her 40's she started to have a lot of health problems, she was very stubborn so it took some convincing to get her to go see a doctor. After much testing she was diagnosed with alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency, this affects the lungs and liver. So Frances quit smoking and never drank alcohol or even coffee anymore. She was told she had emphysema which made it hard for her to breath normally. She was also told that her liver was failing. Her lung was so enlarged that she would not be able to get a liver transplant. So here we are as a result of this she passed away peacefully at the age of 49. She was a wonderful daughter, a dear sister and a caring mom, a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was a good friend and confidant. I knew that when told my Aunt Frances something private that she would do just that, keep it private. She was a sweet person, we will all miss her so much.
