My Story

Glenda was born in Hazard, Kentucky to Cleo and Birse Spencer. She has one sister and six brothers, three of which have also passed away. She was married to Custer Walker on November 1, 1957 and had one son and four daughters, two of which have passed away. She has three grand-daughters and a great-grand-daughter, who was born on what would have been her 50th wedding anniversary. She also has a host of family and friends that miss her greatly. She worked outside the home on occasion but was the happiest when whe was at home taking care of her family. She always found time to listen to everyone's problems and always offered the best advice. She loved having visitors stop by. Her family was her first priority. She was a very loving person who always saw the good in everyone. She never met a stranger and was loved by all. She had a loving aura around her that drew people to her. She was a very religious person who loved the Bible and church.
