My Story

Dad died on September, 21st, 2005 on Mom's birthday. He died of a massive heart attach in the Eglinton Square Mall, Scarborough,Ontario. Leaving behind his wife Inez, sons Davy and Sen,daughters, Grandchildren, 2 great grandsons Kayden Stefon Gopaul the second, and Dominic Gopaul. Daddy Gopaul was born in Guyana South America, His parents ailed from India and migrated to Guyana. He worked as a professional sugar chemist, played professional cricket for his Country and other neighboring Countries in the West Indies.(Cricket history information for Madan and Sen, Davy Gopaul can be found on the internet)Later in 1979 Dad and his family migrated to Canada to find betterment in life for his family. After dad passed away, months after Davy(brother) passed away. He played cricket for Greys church in Canada and later pursued a career as horseman,rearing,breeding, racing, training, his own horses for races in Woodbine race track, Quarter downs, Belville, and many other major race tracks in Canada. Well known in England and many around the world. Davy also died of a massive heart attack, leaving behind, common law wife, Anisha Sammy and children, sisters. February 29th, 2009, Sen(brother) passed away, leaving behind daughter Emily, residing in England. He was a professional cricketer serving his Country Guyana,and the West Indies,a leg spinner and googly and great batsman, served in England as a cricket coach, received awards and recognition certificates, Played with his cousin Rohan Khanai in England, and migrated to Canada. Finally, in September 2009, our Mom passed away ,leaving her daughters behind. She was a wonderful woman, mother,sister, grandmother,great grandmother,aunty, and a friend to many. A woman so faithful and cared for her family, she was loving and caring so much for her sisters and brother. Daughter of Reverend,Isaac and Rose Jairaj of Guyana South America. She was so sweet and helpful to others until that day her own decided she should not live and took her life.But God saw her pain and said : "I will carry you upon my shoulders and care for you. Because you love me so much it is time to hold you all in my arms so don't be sad for the one who took your life just forgive, for I am your avenger says the Lord. Only cry for your children and their children,for they are facing the world, Many other close and far family members, and friends have sent their condolences and misses them. The Gopaul family are wonderful and special people never to be forgotten. We will always have you all near and dear in our hearts.
