My Dad Jack A Godwin was born on February 26, 1943 he is the oldest son of Archie and Caroline Godwin and the Big Brother to Jimmy, Eddie, Mary, Janice and Sarah. He married his sweetheart Carolyn Sue Williams on June 6, 1964. He has three daughters Kimberly Dawn Doyle born on October 3, 1967, Melinda May Black born on September 2, 1971, and Kristy Lynn Morley born on March 19, 1979. He is the grandfather of nine grandchildren there names are Christian Lawrence Shields, Amanda Rene Shields, Madsion Glee Doyle, Nathaniel Evan Shields, Blake Andrew Morley, Jaclyn Danielle Morley, Taylor Dawn Doyle, Michaela Sue Morley and Gracie Rose Morley. Kimberly has two kids with her husband Michael Doyle, Melinda Black has three kids by her ex husband Christopher Shields, Melinda Black's husband John Black is the stepfather to her three kids, Kristy has three kids with her husband Daniel Morley and one stepson by Daniel. My Dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor and cancer of the liver and he passed away on August 1, 2004 at Belton Research Hospital at around 6am. I will alway remember the good things that my dad would do he was always there for his wife, kids and grandkids. His mother Caroline Godwin passed away in November of 2010, she loved her husband Archie and kids, grandkids and greatgrandkids alot. His Father Archie Godwin passed away May 7, 2013 he out lived his wife and his oldest son Jack A Godwin, he loved his wife Caroline til she passed away he also loved his kids and grandkids and great grandkids. We will alway Love you Jack a loving husband, father and grandfather.
