My Story

Jake is and amazing son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin.

He made friends easily and he'd do anything for them. You are lucky if he counted you amongst them.

He loved to share his faith with everyone and you rarely saw him without his guitar.

On July 12, 2009 while swimming and jumping into the river with friends Jake was caught in the current and swept away. A search was made of a 12 mile stretch of the river but no sign of him has been found.
The search was called off due to flooding from glacial melt making it dangerous for the searchers.

Please pray for an answer for Jake's family.

If you are truly gone, buddy, then the world is a darker place because of it. You lit up the room with your amazing personality and we'll miss you a ton.

A note from Jake's parents:
To all of our family and friends in Washington and Oregon. Alaska is a long way to come for a memorial service, so Jaden and I will be in Monroe Washington to hold a celebration of life for Jacob Larson on Sunday evening July 26th, 6:00pm at Monroe Community Chapel, 23515 Old Owen Rd, Monroe, WA 98272. Hope to see you all there.
