My Story

James Edward Kyler was born in Portland, Oregon on March 17, 1954. His parents were Floyd Keith Kyler and Beverly Jane Parsons-Kyler. James loved to read and was a "wargamer" from his early teens to the present. James shared a passion around military campaigns, minatures, and role playing war games and shared it with everyone. His friends in the wargaming community were a vital part of his life.

James also loved to read and shared his books, british comedies, old radio shows, and other media with his community. He had a big heart and never knew a stranger.

James is survived by his brother Andy and his wife Barbara, his sister Cathy and her husband Frank, 3 nieces: Chantal, Amy, and Kara, and nephew: Sean.
