My Story

Janet Jorgensens life was cut horribly short on Wednesday December 5th 2007 - after a gunman opened fire at a Mall in Omaha, Nebraska. He killed himself and eight innocent victims, including Janet.

Janet was an employee at the mall, working in the crystal department. She was involved in charity work and had three children and eight grandchildren and a loving husband of 50 years.

Janet was known as outgoing, friendly and popular, this tragic event has devastated all those who knew her.

Jorgensen gave the gift of light and the gift of love to all she encountered. She will always be remembered.
