His mon Sharon Pased away 1 year after he did she is in heavean with him aswell looking down and watching over us. Jody was an amazing person and he was my lilttle brother. JODY EDWIN SMITH, 27, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at Lee Memorial Hospital, Fort Myers, FL.
He was born August 13, 1975 in Corning, New York and moved to Port Charlotte
2 years ago from Smithfield, NC. He was a manager with Dollar General Stores.
Survived by his wife, Jennifer R. Smith of Zebulon, NC; three daughters,
Kerstin Smith of Zebulon, NC, Destiny and Deseray Smith both of Hammondsport,
NY; a son, Devin Smith of Hammondsport, NY; a sister, Tracy Wright of Corning, NY;
a half-sister, Crystal D. Smith of Fort Pierce, FL; a brother, Lonny Smith of Port
Charlotte; a half-brother, Larry W. Smith of Fort Pierce, FL; mother, Sharon H. Smith of Corning, NY; father, Larry Smith of Galeton, PA; and friend, Edward J. Palmer, Jr.
of Port Charlotte.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 6:00 PM, March 13, 2003 at Roberson Funeral
Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Rev. James R. Kuse of the Port Charlotte United Methodist
Church will officiate.
