Joel Beckman, 25, left this world on Friday, June 7, 2013. Born in Providence, the son of Luigi 'Gino' Cicchetti and the late Jill Beckman. Joel was a beautiful spirit with innate creativity that he manifested through music, stories, calligraphy and paintings. He loved nature and was a semester away from graduating with a degree in wildlife biology. Besides his father Gino, he is survived by two brothers: Ely M. Beckman and Tyler Beckman Cicchetti.
Dearest Joel, for 25 I had the privilege of loving you and wanted nothing but the best for you; that you would find your way and realize how special you are; how many lives you touched through your musical soul, brilliant creativity and gentle spirit. I am crushed by the reality that you are gone. I hope you are truly free and that the confines of this body and this life no longer weigh down your beautiful spirit...
