Mario was hired at Nature’s Best on 6/3/13, after working for us for several months through our temp agencies, Staffmark and Road Dog. Prior employment included driving for Davis Trucking in Memphis, TN for three years until the company closed. He also worked as a driver shuttling patients to therapy and doctor’s appointments in Kansas City, MO. He was a delivery driver for Advance Auto parts and Cross Midwest Tire Service. Mario spent his High School years working as a Valet parking cars before leaving home for college. Mario graduated from West Port High School in Kansas City MO. He then went to college at Missouri Valley College in Marshall, MO on a football scholarship. After his first year, he transferred to Missouri Western in Saint Joseph, MO where he studied physical education. He transferred to P.F.I. in Olathe KS where he earned his certification as a personal trainer. He was a personal trainer and then began driving trucks about 3 years ago. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Peterson and his sister Jasmine Peterson.

Prior to Nature’s Best, he was employed as a dump truck driver and also drove a concrete mixer for Williams Bros. Construction and, as an over-the-road driver for Ceva Logistics. Prior to entering the construction business Julio delivered beer for both Ben E. Keith and Republic National. Julio attended Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School in Fort Worth, TX. Julio is survived by his wife, Maria Villegas and two sons, Edgar, 19 and Kevin, 16.
