Kevin was passionate in recognising Chinese-Australians in our country's short history and as president of CAFHOV (Chinese Australian Family Historians of Victoria) he was instrumental in getting a stele put up in the Buckland Valley, out of Bright, Victoria to recognise the thousands of Chinese who were pushed out of the valley by other gold-miners in July 1857.
