My Story

Khenpo Kyosang Rinpoche was a prominent lama (teacher) of Tibetan Buddhism. Born in 1950 (date unknown), He was ordained as a monk at His tender age. He spent the first half of His life in a monastery in South India. In 1988 Rinpoche went to Europe to spread the Teaching of Buddha in western countries. For more than 13 years He leaded Je Tsongkapa(i) Ling Buddhist College and Home Retirement in Alsace. Rinpoche-la passed into nirvana suddenly, but peacefully on July 31st, 2014 at the new home of Je Tsongkapa(i) Ling. He left many spiritual disciples in different countries. His wishes were to be cremated.

We had a source

Of consolation, faith, and wisdom true,

We are now bereft of all the three.

The ship that went so far along its course

Has crashed, those who survived are too few.

Deep is the sea of our misery.

“You cannot win the fight

With paganism and lies of our days,

This foe of yours is strong and never dies.

But struggle with all your might”.

The Captain said.  “Death better than disgrace.”

We truly will remember his advice.
