it was such a significant birth,

You brought me up to know whats right,
Always there my guiding light.
Never faultering in your belief,

You helped make me what I am today.

We would have celebrated your 85th Birthday today if you were still here, but in our hearts we'll celebrate and think of you with cheer,
because you, dear Mom, were a special part of my life
and celebrating how you cared for us, to me is only right

Ten years have passed,
since you breathed your last,
time has flown, but I have known,
your missed every day.

To say, in life, you were our light.
