Adeleye Alex Wakili Adesanya ; March 1st 1955 - February
24th 2011, former Resident of Houston Texas. After a courageous
illness, Leye{Alex} passed away peacefully at his hometown in Abeokuta, Nigeria.
Leye{Alex} was born in Kano and raised in
Ibadan/Lagos [Suru-Lere] and graduated from Clark College in Atlanta, USA. He
later moved to work in Houston, Texas where he lived most of his
life.
He was one of three children born to the late Alhaji Jimoh Olanrenwaju and Alhaja Humani Abeke Adesanya and brother to late AdeGoke Greg Adesanya who passed in 2009.
Leye will forever be remembered by his daughter Oluwaseun Adesanya, only surviving brother Wale and loving half sisters; Bola, Idiat, Adunni, Afusa, Zanab, Sofiat
and half brothers; Jimi and Wole, Taofik, Yasir, Afis beloved newly arrived
grandchild, Kaian Olanrewaju Beckford, along with countless other friends and
family whom were blessed to know him. Leye{Alex} loved listening to classical
Nigerian music, laughing, being with his family, having fun with friends and
serving his community.
Leye{Alex} touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, March 5th, 2011, at 10am at 7
