I remember a time, I was very young, mom can't remember exactly but i think I was around 3 or 4, mom and dad loved vernon downs horse racing, so we went there quite often too and one night dad let me pick numbers for the race and my horses came in, i was so excited and dad and mom were too, dont know how much they won, but they took me to the store and let me pick out a doll .. it was great..y...

My daddy would always tell me the poem he and his brother (my uncle malcolm ) had made up when they were kids. My dad and I would sit down towards the end of the week with his football tickets so we could gamble and win if our picked teams won. It was so fun. He would always let me pick too even though i really knew nothing of the sport and how to gamble with it but we would watch all the games including "our team" the WASHINGTON REDSKINS" that was my dads favorite team and has been, and always will be...

I am fortunate in that I am the oldest child and have quite a few years of memories of my dad and for that I am eternally grateful.
