Luke Nathan Spehr (October 7, 1980 – June 19, 2007) played football for Gepps Cross and also played SANFL football for the Woodville West-Torrens Eagles. He also received the Bob Lee medal for his best on ground performance in the 2004 SANFL reserves GF.

One of the most amazing people I will ever know.

 Luke was the most loyal, outgoing, confident person you could ever meet. When he walked into a room it would light up.

He had so much love for his friends and his family.

Luke and i were close friends. We had a relationship that not many understood....It was so special. We were no longer romantic at this time, but we both knew how special our relationship and friendship was.

I dont know why Luke left us so early in his life but I do know that he is at peace with himself now and is happy. And that everyday is is looking down on and protecting everyone of his friends and family members that he so deeply cared about.
