My Story

Michael was a man who touched anybody that had the privelage of knowing him. He was born Feb. 10, 1980 to Phillip Bailey and Doreen Deschampe. He was a wonderful brother to six sisters, Tory, Melanie, Melinda, Michelle, Ricki-Leigh, and Allison, and two brothers Bradley and Russell. He was more then a son and brother, he was a father, to Autumn and Isaiah, a stepfather to Brandon and Taylor, a husband to Christina, an Uncle to Bailey, Darcey, Xavier, Ellijah, JaDarius, and Logan. He was an amazing friend to us all and so many others.
He was raised in Two Harbors MN, Duluth MN, Superior WI, and Foxboro WI. He loved to cook for his family and friends, even had the privalege of having one of his sandwiches, The Mikey Special, put on the menu at his job at Emilys. He loved to do anything outdoors, especially fishing which is a love he shared with his stepson Brandon. He loved to be with his family and will be sadly missed by us all.
Mike had a heart bigger then this World and wouldve given his last to help a stranger. He could always manage to make you smile, no matter what the situation may be. He had a smile that would brighten a room! He lived his life for his family, and his kids meant everything to him. He had a very special bond with his baby boy Isaiah.
He is proceeded in death by a very close Grandmother, Gloria, who was mom to Mike. They shared an extreme closeness and losing her in 2008 was very hard on him. He is also proceeded by a nephew, JaDarius who passed away 1 1/2 months before Gram Glo. He was a pallbearer at his nephews funeral.

There are so many memories of Michael that we will share with each other through time. Please feel free to share your memories, although he is gone he will never be forgotten.
