My Story

Mike was born on 2/16/1976 to his loving mother, Yvonne Mary Holtz and his father, Steve Kenneth Holtz. He grew up on Twilight ave. in Keansburg,NJ until he was 8 years old. We then moved to Mystic Island,NJ where Mike when to Little Egg Harbor Intermediate School,Graduated 6th grade and when on to graduate from Pinelands Regional High School with Alumni status. Mike has 1 sister and 4 brothers. From oldest to youngest there names are- Kimberly Mary Holtz, Gregory Lawrence Holtz, Matthew Todd Holtz, Steven Daniel Holtz and Erik Steven Holtz. Mike was Blessed with the opportunity to have two beautiful children whom he loved dearly. There names are-Lauren Ashley and Michael Dalton Holtz. Mike also has many neices and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins that miss him dearly also. Mike loved to travel and see the world around him and was not afraid to be alone. He was a strong willed soul that believed in God and Jesus with reverence. He was a spiritual man and also a loving person who took interest in anyone who needed his assistance or spiritual guidance. He was a giver and Not a taker. He loved his mother more than any other woman he came across and made it a point to call her everyday no matter where he was or what he was doing. he also was a loving brother and thought his sister and brothers were like none other. He was the glue that held all our emotions together and it's unbelievably hard to understand why our great god called upon him so young in life but if anyone could be useful in heaven it would be our Micheal. Like the expression goes-"Only the good die young." and it cannot be more true. Mike loved his body and treated it as a temple not of pleasure but of discipline. Mike was an accomplished body builder and was most knowledgeable in health foods and vitamin supplements. His idle was Arnold Swartzenager and he probably Knew more about the man than the mans own wife! Mike was currently going to college in Oregon when he passed on. He was going to become a male nurse because If Mike loved to do anything it was help his fellow man. Mike taught us all so many Things in his short time here on earth but if he would want us all to take anything with us it would be that we all must love one another and that we must live our lives to the fullest everyday. Also Mike would want us all to actively help our fellow man because that is what he was all about-LOVE,PEACE AND GOD!! Michael, we all miss you so much and there is not a day that goes by that we all think of something you shared with us. We are most fortunite to of had you in our lives and in our hearts. THANK YOU FOR PICKING US AS YOUR FAMILY MIKE. WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS WHAT YOU MEAN TO US AND OUR HEARTS AND SOULS WILL NOT BE COMPLETE EVER AGAIN NOW THAT YOUR NOT HERE WITH US. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN OUR HEARTS WILL BURN AND OUR DAYS WILL NEVER SEEM FULL. YOU WERE OUR SUN,OUR MOON,EARTH AND SKY BUT MOST OF ALL YOU WERE OUR BROTHER. WE LOVE YOU, WE LOVE YOU, WE LOVE YOU.
