My Story

Molly Colleen O'Connor was born May 18, 2008. She entered the world with her twin sister, Emma Grace. They were 6lbs and spent a week in the NICU. They grew up together for 5 months. Laughing. Smiling. Growing. Then on Halloween night, Emma started to cry. I went in and saw that she had lost her pacifier. I gave it back to her and as I started to leave the room, I noticed Molly seemed to not be breathing. 2 months before, the girls went in for lung surgery to remove tumors. So I thought she just needed some oxygen as they needed to use. They had recently stopeed the previous week. And as I picked her up, she felt cold, and just didn't seem normal. I called in my husband, Michael, and he agreed. We called 911 and they came in 5 minutes. We were sure she was already dead and we were right. At 11: 25pm, Molly was pernounced dead.
