Negarin died unexpectedly at her apartment in Portland OR at the beginning of June 2009, with the exact date of her passing yet to be determined. She was only 37 years young. She was the sweetest person you would ever meet with a heart of gold. Her warm smile delighted patients and staff at OHSU each and every day. She was a Health Unit Coordinator at OHSU on the Mother-Baby Unit for over 15 years. Negarin was an amazing listener and caring friend. She was very artistic and extremely bright. Her feelings were often expressed in beautiful paintings and poetry. She will be dearly missed by all of her family, fellow co-workers, friends both here in the United States and abroad. She has touched the lives of so many people.
