That best portion of a good man's life, his little, nameless,
unremembered acts of kindness and of love." - William Wordsworth (1770 -
1850)
Chris was born May 18th, 1924. He was the last of his family;
having his parents & 6 brothers predecease him.
He is sadly missed by 3 children: Chris, Jim & Betty. 6
grandchildren: Karen, Janet, Andrew, Shauna, Lisa & Laura. And 3 great
grandchildren: Michael, Christian & Aiden.
He served our country in the army as well as working for the
Board of Education as a custodian for many years. He will always be
remembered for his big heart. He was a very giving & sweet man. In his
days of working for the board, he was known to give his lunch to children
who didn't have a lunch.
Chris was also fond of animals, especially cats. His room at the
home bore witness to that. He also had his beloved stuffed cat
"Sooner".
At the age of 85, he was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor.
4 months later; he was called Home. Even near the end, he always had a
smile for everyone.
Until we meet again; rest in peace our sweet angel.
