Peggy was a special woman; loved by so many people. She was no-nonsense, but kind and fun at the same time. She could always be counted on to speak the truth with love, and when she felt she made a mistake about you, she would seek to right that and bring you close again. She was creatively gifted, which was evident in the welcoming coziness of her home. She loved her two boys: Bruce and Lee, whom she had with first husband and childhood love, Bruce Sr. Then went on to equally adore her grandchildren: Devin, Dyson & Nathan.
Peggy spent 20 years with her beloved second husband Paul, who passed away in 2007 after his own battle with cancer.
Peggy passed peacefully in her home, on January 28th, 2013, after a short battle with cancer. Her partner, Don Ball, and other family members had the privilege of caring for her in those last days. She passed on unafraid, and will be missed by those left behind, and embraced by loved ones waiting.
