My Story

Reuben Krause was my zaida. I never really knew him as he passed before I was born.

From what i know he was a much older man than my buba chajka. He worked very hard in the markets with a lot of his friends.

The stories that i know of are of him in charge of shoe stall at Victoria market that is situated on the fringe of the CBD.

My father talked very highly of him and with the utmost respect.

Living in Carlton with my father and aunty they came here with nothing and have created the opportunities through which we live today.
