Rev. Bobby Carl "B.C." Threet, 78 of Winfield, PA for the past 7 years, formerly of Byrdstown, TN and Adrian, MI was born November 2, 1932 in Wilder, TN. Son of the late Alonzo and Viola (Cravens) Threet. On July 11, 1950, he married the former Wilma P. Deming, who survives.
B.C. most recently attended the Chapman Community Chapel, Port Trevorton, PA.
He was active in evangelistic work most of his life and pastored for 46 years, including at the Church of Christ in Christian Union in both Michigan for 4 years and Lewisburg, PA for 2 years. B.C. founded the Sound of the Gospel Church in Selinsgrove, PA, where he continued to pastor for 25 years.
B.C. was a disc jockey of the "Southern Gospel Express" program on WMLP, Sunbury, PA, was a member of the United Missionary Evangelistic Association. You can go here to listen to his final 3 broadcasts:

He enjoyed singing and preaching with his family in the quartet, "Family Four", for 7 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife of nearly 61 years, are two sons and one daughter in law, Ricky D. Threet and his companion Joan Kerstetter of Winfield, PA, and Phil C. and Marlene J. Threet of Mifflinburg, PA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara J. and Steve Wilbert of Port Trevorton, PA and Kim D. and Kii Z. Fisher of Shamokin Dam, PA; one brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Bonnie Threet of Novi, MI; one sister and brother-in-law, Trish and Jim Munoz of Toledo, OH; 10 grandchildren (Jesse Threet (FL), Angie Sierer (PA), Brandee Bickhart-Hoffman (PA), Darrel Bickhart (NY), Amber Fisher (VT), Samantha Bennett (PA), Anthony Threet (PA), Tristan Threet (PA), Jalen Threet (PA), Christina Ayala (PA); along with 6 step-grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by one son, Bobby Darrel Threet; four brothers, Beulis, William, Jewel, and Jesse Threet; and two sisters, Ruby Norris, and Janine Dillon.
He is buried in the Wayside Cemetery, Middleburg.
