Richard H.
Ball 1946-2012
After a lengthy illness,
Richard passed away at Riverside Community Hospital in Riverside,
California, with his loving wife Carol and his sister Judy by his side to
comfort him as he left his earthly body and spirit returned home.
He was very proud to
have served in the United States Navy on the USS Kankakee. He also worked for
Dow Jones, Wall Street Journal for 25 years. One of his
greatest passions was collecting and restoring antique cars. Rebuilding many
from a rusted frame and returning them to their showroom glory. He found peace
and serenity while vacationing and deep sea fishing on the island of Kauai.
He is survived by his
beloved wife Carol of Riverside, California, his son Christian Ball of
Hooverville, Pennsylvania with whom Rich shared his passion for antique cars and his granddaughter, Sammie.
He is also survived by his devoted his daughter Carrie-Anne Amato (Ball), her
husband, Anthony W. Amato and Rich’s grandsons, William R. Drumm and Ian M.
Drumm all from Warminster, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his loving
sisters Nancy Outhouse of Hastings, Minnesota , Judy Haines of Langhorne,
Pennsylvania as well as several nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his grandson, Andrew J. Drumm and granddaughter, Ashley N. Drumm, as well as his parents Dave and Irene Hart.
