My Story

our beautiful little boy was born sleeping on december 9th 2008. we named him rocco. i was 8 and a half months pregnant with 2 weeks to go to my elective caesarian. i had suffered reoccurring bouts of bronchitis, chest infections,pneumonia and the medications that i had to take for my own survival and well...our new born baby who would not make it to this world, (this proven thru autopsy to have nothing to do with the horrendous outcome) An eerie dream, a mothers instinct, my doctors attempt at hiding concern and then the dominos started tumbling and mine and my families life as we know it came crashing down, never to be the same again. i went home on the monday nite to try to get my head around this, what was this? tomorrow i would be giving birth to our, my dead baby. how myself, my husband and our 2 boys got thru that and the months to come still amazes me today.he is in my thoughts much of the day, still and always will be. i ache for him, i even see and hear him sometimes, giggling in the gentle breeze or a shadow behind the couch out of the corner of my eye, its got to be my mind playing tricks on me or just maybe... we just cling on to silly things like that, its like it gives us hope.for something, for time to rewind, for our hearts and spirit to not have been so irrevocably damaged, to have a toddler running amok at my feet , cradling him in my arms... my eldest, jackson, was 6 when it happened,still cries for him. we were blessed with another little boy 18 months later,im sure is a present from our little angel, brother, bubby ROCCO.

AN ANGEL FROM THE BOOK OF LIFE WROTE DOWN OUR DARLINGS BIRTH, AND WHISPERED AS SHE CLOSED THE BOOK, TOO PRECIOUS FOR THIS EARTH.
