My Story

RUSSELL RAY NEVILLE WAS BORN DEC.19,1962 IN SYNDER,TX TO DON AND PAULINE NEVILLE.HE WAS THEIR ONLY SON.HE HAD THREE SISTERS:Donna Neville,Paula Dunn and Jennifer Maddle.He had married Regina Suechting Sept.15,1981,separated in 1987,final divorce decree April 1993.They had two boys,Nicholas and Michael.Rusty and I ,Thilena Diann Sanders,met in 1987.We went on our first date July 18,1987.That weekend was the first of the happiest days of my life!He showed me true happiness I had always dreamed of and became whole.For on that fateful day I found my soulmate.I have never been the same.We were together for 6yrs before we married on May6,1993.We had hard times,for we both brought baggage to our blended families.I had a daughter,Jessica from previous marriage.We came together and in our hearts our chidren were our children.We faced many challenges together and God brought us thru.The horrible wreck our oldest son Nick was in in 2005 changed our lives forever.He was our miracle,hospitalized for two months and then extensive therapy and numerous hospital trips.Rusty took over his fathers business when he retired in 1991,NEVILLE MACHINE SHOP,where he had worked since 9 yrs old.He was a very kind hearted person who many times would not charge people who brought things in that needed fixing.I always told him that by doing lil things like that God would bless him.He didn't have christian upbringing but for the little his Grandma Thomas told him.I told him of how great our God is.He was there for me thru the death of my mom,dad,stepdad,uncle,grandma,grandpa and our youngest son,Mikey who he is with now.Our son Nick and his beautiful wife,Miranda blessed us with two beautiful grandchildren ,Allison 4yrs and Cade 2 1/2yrs.Pawpaw Rusty loved them so much and they loved him.He had just settled out and was enjoying our live when God called him home.He was my marlboro man,my knight in shining armour,my man!! He healed so many scars in my life,he made me feel safe for the first time in my life,he taught me how to fish,hunt,shoot.We loved the outdoors and riding in the wind.We shared so much bad and good,God and our love was strong enough to make it thru.He was so very talented.He made things from metal,wood,plastic and a perfectionist.We had 24yrs here on this earth together and I can't wait to be with him again.I found him dead in our bathroom amongst lots of blood from an aortic anyrism.It is a smell and sight I will never forget.I had to represent him in court for a case we had against a client we had who owed us $20,000 since he was sick with abcess tooth.They he died not long after I left.When I found him 4 hrs later he was already cold.He was my hero and I miss him so!!He passed away on Aug.24,2010.The passing of our son,Mikey put a hole in my heart,but when Rusty passed he took my heart.On that day he not only died but so did I along with all my dreams,hopes and living.
