My Story

This site is for my grandma who past away. She was my best friend. She was raised with one brother and two sisters in New York. Though the years I hurd alot of stories about when she was a kid. She was raised with a stricked mother and her father being the oppisite. Going to school in New York the one story I remember her telling me over and over is that she walked to school no matter what the weather was and she never missed a single day of school. Toward her kids she was pretty easy going she did not have the money to give her kids. Then when she got older she started working at DP&L she retired from there. I know when the grandchildren were born she had money to spend on us. She had 7 grandchildren from her two daughters, and she had 5 from her husbands kids. Out of her girls 7 it went Courtney, Jack, Lacey, Jessica, Nicole (me), Rheanna, and Sebastion. Growing up all of us kids had tons of nights at grandmas house, and many memories with our wounderful grandmother. She was the one to give you the shirt off of her back. I know many people say that about their loved once, but grandma was the one that would really and truly do it. Through out the years we thought grandma would be here forever. One tragic day she had to go to the hospital because she fell and they wanted to do X-Rays on her. They told us that it was just a virus and that she would get better. Well then she had 2 siezures and thats when everyone relized it was worse than we thought. She was in ICU for about a week and when she came out they told us she had brain cancer and it had spread to her whole body. They sent her home because she did not want to spend her last days in the hospital. Well she had to go back for a surgry. She came home after the surgry and it was about 3 weeks later she passed away. We knew it was coming but it still does not seem real. If you knew Ruth Giolitto you know that this was somthing that we never will know why it happen. But now we have her looking over us making sure we all are okay! I love you grandma!!!
