My Story

Shane Alexander McKinney, was born on June 10th 1992. He graduated from Liberty High School, and Trumbull Career and Technical Center. He leaves behind seventeen year old brother Ryan, and mom, Lisa, and Father, Jeffery. Shane was a proud openly gay young man, who loved everyone and tried his best to help anyone who needed it. He also had a talent for acting and had that little special something to make you smile or laugh when you were having a bad day. His enjoyed skating, performing theater, and just spending time with his friends. Shane was often seen listening to his favorite artist, Lady Gaga, which he proclaimed to be "the queen of music" Shane loved to laugh and smile, and just be in good company. He liked to watch horror movies, and often enjoyed scaring his little brother. He attended the University Of Akron, from Public Relations and French. Shane also liked to do yoga in his spare time, which he would call it "where the mind and body blend". He also had a spitfire but sassy attitude which attracted many of his friends. Shane will be dearly missed by many, and was often heard saying this sad quote. "Bury me in glitter". Times and services will be announced.
