Dearest Shawn, in 1994 upon first meeting I could never have anticipated just how much that first meeting would impact my entire life, friendly, honest, warm and genuine, eyes so blue, always silly, you were always the optimist, I the skeptic, you never allowed me to walk alone. Even when I shut everyone else out, there was always you. Life for me was irrevocably changed.I cannot imagine a better friend, a more loyal confidante, the void, the echo of silence, the surreal denial of your no longer being here fills my mind and heart with a sickening emptiness, that nothing can fill.
