Today should have been so different, my life should have been so different; but, one thing is for certain, we never lose the people we love, even to death. You continue to participate in every thought and decision I make - even the bad ones ;-). You would be so proud of your daughters and all of the things they have accomplished. I have to give you credit for the women they have become; you ...

From the Cincinnati Enquirer - July 14, 2011: There's no solace in dealing with Steve's passing except to know how fortunate we were to have known him. The lessons he taught, by example, on being a great father and an equally great husband will have a positive impact on those that witnessed for many, many years. ~ David Robinson, Reston, Virginia

Kathie, Shelby and Andrea - you are very much in our prayers. Steve was such a great friend - he was so selfless in helping us with our deck and basement - those nights sitting on buckets in our unfinished basement eating Gold Star coneys with Dave's Insanity Sauce to doctor up the cheese coneys and tell great stories are some of my fondest memories of Steve. I will never pick up a paint brus...

My deepest sympathy to the Dixon family and I can't tell you how sad I was to hear that Steve had passed away. Steve's Mom and Dad and my parents were friends for many years. When I was young our parents would get together and Steve was always fun, silly and smiling. I have always and will always remember that about Steve. Gale Burkhart Gale
