My Story

Tammie Lynn Hunter Wamble was born on Nov. 10, 1962 in St Louis MO.  She was the youngest child of Jessie and Inez Hunter.  She had three big sisters, Dianna Moore, Charlotte Mason and Pamela German and three big brothers, Terry Hunter (dec), Steve Hunter and Eric Hunter.  Her life-long best friend was Peggy Sharp.  She married Kenneth Wamble and had two children, Rhiannon Wamble and Jacob Wamble.  Rhiannon presented her with her only grandchild at the time of her early death, Abigail.

Tammie was a beautiful child and she grew to be a beautiful woman.  She did not have an easy life, but she was loved and she loved many.  Tammie could not have known the impact her life and her death would have on us.  We miss her every single day.  It's been almost a year since she left us and still we cry for her.  I still hear her voice and her laughter and I still reach for the phone to call her.

I know Tammie is in a better place.  She is healthy and beautiful and at peace.  I long to see her again and I know I will.  Until then, we have to hold on to our memories.

Please join us in memory of our sweet Tammie.  But, when you think of her - smile.  She is okay now and she would not want us to be sad.

From Her Sister - Reney

My baby sister  / Dianna Moore (sister)

It was a cold November day when Tammie was born Mom and I talked often about what her name would be I wanted Tammie or Kathy. They didn't have ultra sounds back in those days so we didn't know what the baby would be I wanted a little girl.  She was born with beautiful red hair only Tammie and Eric  would be blessed with the red hair of our great grandpa Edgar.  Mom and Dad soon moved to Houston Texas when she was just a few weeks old. Later I moved to Texas to be near them.  I wasn't blessed to have all the early childhood memories as the other kids do.  Mom and Dad moved on to California and we went back to St. Louis.  Mom sent pictures of her as she grew and I had a little girl the next year I got all the pretty little dresses Mom bought for Tammie.

My sister is now with our heavenly father.  I prayed for her many times and two weeks before she died I felt need for a special intercessory prayer time for her.  I asked God to send the Holy Spirit to her in a special way.  I thank God for him doing just that.  I know she turned to him and he saved her from her sins and gave her the privilege of living now in his presence for ever more. If Tammie could say one thing to everyone now she would say it is wonderful to be in heaven it is a place of beauty beyond all measure.  Mom and Dad and Terry are here with me and we have been having a great time.  I have been telling them all about you and about how many beautiful grandbabies they have. (Mom wanted lots of grandbabies) We are all anxious for the rest of the family to join us but we know we have to wait until Jesus comes for the church. To all the people I love so dear please turn to Jesus he loves you very much and the only way we will see each other again is for you to receive him as your Lord and Saviour.

I never spoke to Tammie that she wasn't laughing and I know she is in eternal joy and laughter now.  I wished we had lived closer so we could have built more memories of times together. But I do know she loved her precious little grandbaby Abbey so much she was proud of her and she loved her children.

Until we see each other again in heaven - love you Sis!!!
