Going to Bob's Big Boy for birthday dinners.
Spending the night as a child at Grandpa and Grandma's house and sleeping on the Brown Couch in the Brown Couch Room
Homemade sweet pickles and cherry tomatoes.
Traditional broccoli casserole and sweet tea at every family get-together
Black-eyed peas and ham every New Year...
My Grandpa was the kind of man who knew no strangers. Once you met him and talked to him for two minutes, you felt as if you'd known him forever. He was a gentle, caring man. He would do anything for anybody at the drop of a hat. I never saw my Grandpa mad. More importantly, he was a very devoted Christian man and family man.
There is no doubt in my mind that he's in Heaven right now ...
