Where do i begin to tell the story of an wonderful man, Eric was born on April 2,1960, to Philip and Peg Van Etten, Eric has three brothers, who he loved and respect, Philip, Craig. Todd, Mark who is predeceased. Eric left behind, many Aunts and Uncles, cousins, nieces,and nephews. And his two Sons, Justin and Seanny. Who loved him so much. Eric loved the outdoors, he liked hiking fishing and his real true love was 4Wheeling, He would take his boys on weekends and be gone for hours, I often was worried, cause Eric loved being a Daredevil,, Eric and I met in 1986, When i first met him i knew in my Heart that someday I would marry that Man. Eric and I were Married in october 28,1995,We have two Boys Justin who is 15yrs old, and Seanny,who is 12yrs old, Eric loved his boys he would give them anything that they wanted, Eric was diagonosed in Sept of 09, that he had stage 4 Esopogail Cancer, that had spread to his liver. From the moment that he was told about the cancer, he wasnt going to give up, Eric endured chemo, and was so sick from that but he always had a smile on his face, I Told him that i was so proud of him, he had so much fight and courage, he fought to the very end, he always told me he wasnt going to give up, he was hoping the doctors would be able to make him better, for awhile he did really good, he would take the boys out on their 4-wheelers, But then we were told that the cancer had gone to his brain, that was hard, he had endured not only chemo. now it was raditation, but he still had the courage and will to fight. I would get so upset just watching him go through all this. but he never complained, Eric was told in the beginnig that he was terminal, that he had 6 months to a year, Eric never thought about that, he always said that he didnt feel like he was dying, Eric lost his fight on October 5,2010 . I love and Miss him so much, I know he isnt suffering, and that he is at peace now, but i Miss him, so does his sons, Although its hard to let go, I know in my heart that Eric, is with me and our boys and that there is a New angel in heaven that watches over his family,
