William David Towle, of Slidell, LA, died at his home July 26, 2012, aged 47. He was born February 1, 1965, in LaCrosse, WI, to David W. and Helen J. Towle. He was a graduate of Picayune Memorial High School, the University of Southern Mississippi (B.S., Mathematics), and Vanderbilt University (PhD., Mathematics). A quiet man all his life, he was well loved by those fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his brother, Matthew Towle, of West St. Paul, MN, his sister, Rose Smith, of Slidell, LA, and his nephew, Donald Smith, also of Slidell, LA.
